Well, almost. Prometheus is a group of talented amateur and professional actors, writers and technicians who've been putting together audio dramas - live, on CD and for podcast - in the Baltimore area since October, 2000.

From our award-winning flagship series The Arbiter Chronicles, to the comic book-inspired high comedy of SuperHuman Times, with a ghost story thrown in here and there, we think you'll find a way to escape the everyday in our ever-growing library of audio adventures.

A New Sound

With this week's Arbiter Chronicles episode, we welcome the talents of composer Kevin MacLeod. Fans of Colonial Radio Theatre are already familiar with Kevin's amazing work. Please let us know what you think of his Arbiters music!

And we bid a fond farewell to composer Scott Farquhar, who has been the musical voice of the Arbiters since their inception. Scott has made the very difficult decision to move on to other projects. But don't worry - you'll still hear Scott as the voice of midshipman Carson in upcoming episodes!

RIP - Nancy Jean Kippax (1947 - 2008)

Prometheus and Baltimore Fandom lost a godmother yesterday. Nancy Kippax, co-editor of the 1970s - 80s Trek Fanzine Contact died in Savannah, GA after a prolonged illness. Nancy was a member of our family, by blood and by Fandom. She was a founding member of Baltimore's Clippercon committee in 1984, and that convention evolved into Farpoint, Prometheus Radio Theatre's fandom home.

Nancy, there are no words to describe the impact you had on our lives and our work. Rest easy. We are one. We reach.
